RSA
can not provide a program if parents do not participate.
Coaches in our Recreational program are volunteers,
as are the League Commissioners and members of the Board of
Directors.
Parent
responsibilities
- All
parents are expected to volunteer to assist their child's
team during the course of the season.
- Assist
in lining the Fields.
- Assisting
the referees by learning to be a referee and acting as a linesman.
- Ask
your coaches what you can do to be involved with your player's
team.
- Organize
team parties / team events
- Become
a snack coordinator
What
positions need volunteers?
The following positions are open and RSA needs parents
to step forward.
- Coaches
and Referees
Coaches, assistant coaches and referees for always
needed.
- RSA
Treasurer
Help us balance our books. Hey, put that CPA
in your family to work!
- U6
Mixed Commissioner
Lead the U6 division to ensure that players are
developing according to the RSA Development and Training plan
and help facilitate information to the coaches.
- U7
Mixed Commissioner
Lead the U7 division to ensure that players are developing
according to the RSA Development and Training plan and help
facilitate the communication of key information including
the launch of RSA Academy.
- Training
Administrator
Work closely with the Director of Coaching to strengthen
the RSA Development program and help identify areas within
the program that need improvement.
- Various
Board positions
Board members manage RSA and we are always needed each
season of officers and age group commissioners who take care
of the paperwork behind the scenes and off the fields.
New board members are elected every June for one year terms.
